Wired Magazine - Editorial Design

 

This magazine was created for the June issue; the main story is “Murmurs of Earth”  and it was chosen because it talks about how technology is been used in our planet. It helps us, society, to understand climate changes and how our brain works. This story is located almost at the end of the magazine and are full spreads.

 

The magazine has different grids and typography hierarchy, given a flow and consistency through the pages. The magazine consists of two parts, Alpha and Ultra. Alpha is more square looking, it has a magenta rectangle in it. The Ultra part looks more playful and it goes with the comic article. Attached to the magazine there is a mailer that would allow our target market to get the magazine subscription.
